While not planning on linking up this week, the unexpected affirmation I received after Mass made me realize - another parent may need the same reminder!

Given the events of yesterday, all my words seem trite. However, I couldn't *not* discuss the horrific events which unfolded in Charlottesville, VA - and, call all of us to action - to become unsung heroes in our own lives.

How a difficult Mass on Sunday has been gnawing at me, making me realize there is beauty in the messiness of life - and, we should all strive to accept both the beauty, and the mess.
The kids were the kind of quiet that makes me wonder if this is the calm before the storm? But, either way, it was a successful, quiet Mass, and for that I am thankful. Also, wise words from our chaplain, which is bound to make you think as you go about your week ahead!
