In today's post, I dig a little deeper on my resolutions discussed a couple weeks back, and invite my followers to go "deeper" with me in 2018.
"However, my job as a mother is to love unconditionally, and support my children in their endeavors - not physically, but emotionally and spiritually. My job is to pray for them, even if I am struggling to like their attitudes or their actions. My job is to be the mother they need. She taught me motherhood isn't about me. Instead, it is about the little ones in my life - no matter how big they get." Thoughts on Mary for this, her Feast of the Queenship of Mary.
Mary's yes made all things possible! As such, Jesus needed a perfect vessel through which to enter this world. God needed a perfect woman, a perfect willingness in the mother, and a perfect example for us to emulate! She *chose* to be the perfect person for the job...
Mary's Assumption is testament to the belief in God's promise that someday, we will have a body reunited with its soul.
