#WorthRevisit: The Military Way of the Cross (The Gratitude Project: Week 34)

"If you have followed my blog any length of time, you'll know I am a proud Army wife, and a proud Catholic Christian... The project I undertook, to have it released for this Lent, was not undertaken without some sacrifice on my part." Today's #WorthRevisit is a look back at The Military Way of the Cross, and how that project was one that, although challenging, makes me a more grateful blogger.

The Gratitude Project: Week 34

"Perhaps that can be my focus during Lent 2018 - how much I act like Jonah, and resist His gentle, and sometimes not-so-gentle, whispers and nudges on my heart. Perhaps focusing on my tendency to resist His whispers and nudges are paving my own, personal Way of the Cross. Perhaps opening my arms, and giving my "yes" to Him with less argument, will allow me to learn better from those saints who still followed His call in their lives." This week's special Gratitude Project addresses how a Lenten project for the Military Council of Catholic Women opened my eyes to my own spiritual battle. The Gratitude Project: Week 33

"I felt as though I caught a simple, modern-day glimpse of what Mary must have felt so many centuries ago." This week's Gratitude Project explores some moments which made this mama's heart smile - and, reminded her of simple beauty even when the rest of the world around us is heavy. What are you grateful for this week?

The Gratitude Project: Weeks 31 & 32

"Therefore, last week went by with nary a word written. And, this week, I decided my soul whimpers a little when I don't make time to write. However, I can't find more than 24 hours a day in my life, and try as hard as I can, I don't have the energy when everyone else is asleep around me at the end of the day, to break out my computer to write. So, I have combined last week's Gratitude moment with this week's, praying that this doesn't become a monthly project, rather than weekly!" What are you most grateful for this week?
